The 8th of March. Officially acknowledged as the International Women's Day. Ironically it was first celebrated as a political event in the US on the 28th of February 1909 following a declaration of the American Socialist Party. Nowadays it's the one day of the year when florists actually do profitable business. The date when the gender gap, admittedly or not, widens and puts forth confrontational thoughts.
Why do women have their own day?
In what do women surpass men?
Why are we genetically, socially and sexually different?
.....
The truth is that every possible scientist has concluded fundamental differences in the aptitude, state of mind, behavior and thinking between men and women. When a Canadian psychologist entitled an academic paper "Are men's and women's brains really different?" she reasoned that the answer was self-evident:
"Yes, of course. It would be amazing if men't and women's brains were not different given the gross structural and other striking behavioral differences between men and women."
Surely we've all experienced such!
Women tend to do or think of many tasks at the same time and intuitively consider possible solutions to problems. Men on the other hand have enhanced skills to separate things and focus on a problem at a time.
dilemma
Women often recall events and/or experiences that share a similar emotional theme, whereas men reconstruct memory in terms of elements and/or activities that took place or appeared.
Women are often small-minded both in terms of the way they look and the way they are treated, whereas men genuinely avoid pettiness.
Only 34% of women admittedly think of sexual interactions daily. This percentage rises to 70 when it concerns men. Simultaneously 80% of them have declared to enjoy sex, whereas more than 50% of women don't.
Women are inclined to talk a lot, whereas the men's verbal skills are less developed and don't stand out. In fact many arguments arise due to the fact that the stronger sex prefers to keep silent in a woman's desire for him to open his mouth.
Do such cases hinder our daily interactions or do they bring us together? The answer is biased and strongly subjective.
There is another question which has gathered head nowadays. What do men search and/or see in women? Is it beauty, is it fame, is it sex or is it gain? The cultural issue here might win a vote. Some enjoy the company of sophisticated women which are well-off and independent. Others don't like when women are potentially stronger.
"The day when misunderstanding the inferior occupations which nature has given her, women leave their home and take part in our battles, on that day a social revolution will begin and everything that maintains the social ties of the family will disappear." (Gustave Le Bon, French scientist).
I personally disagree.
Nevertheless, it's a point of view. My country, Bulgaria, prioritizes the woman's artificial outlooks before anything else. Here, silicone breasts, a flat stomach and nudity win them all: money, sex, the perfect job, the perfect man, popularity.
Elite prostitute. That's the fame most women here have gained and/or long for. It's no bogus. And it's no surprise. Miss Bulgaria herself carries fake breasts. In fact NO Bulgarian woman carries silicone implants without aiming to sexually arise the opposite gender. Henceforth should Bulgarian men be considered shallow and airy when women alone construct a module to follow? It's self-explanatory.
I believe beauty is harmony. A rounded woman could be as pretty as a thin one when she doesn't discard her looks. Appearance needn't be abandoned the same way experienced and knowledgeable women shouldn't be repulsed.
So much for the 8th of March. Did you know there is an International Men's Day? The 19th of November. It's not as widespread however. Maybe due to financial reasons. Anyways ... Happy 8th of March to all! James Brown said it himself back in 1966!
